The movie was a little scary to my wimpy self. There were these freaky Carlisle Cullen like people stalking this kid. The argument were they aliens or angels? There was a lot of sequences of world destruction. It was set in Boston which was a little freaky considering I live in Massachusetts and went to most of the places where the story took place.

So basically this kid finds this drawing that he was given after his school takes its 50 year old time capsule out. He gives it to his dad and his dad finds out that the drawing predicts disasters. He then has to try to figure out how he can save the world. (Cough it doesn’t work)

I thought of it kind of like a comedy. It’s so funny how oblivious the parents are and just leave the kids in the middle of the forest where the Carlisle Cullens’ like stalk them. Also, I started cracking up when the lady lost the kids and went crazy. The funniest part was when they were at the museum restaurant and then the lady blinked like 200 times a minute. I felt mean but laughed when the lady got hit by the tractor trailer.

Spoiler Alert:

I hated the ending. So the Carlisles’ just steal the kids and bring them to a pod. Why the heck couldn’t the dad go? Only the kids! I was so sad when that happened! I also didn’t understand were those people aliens or angels? They talked about the story of Ezekiel a lot. Those people looked weird! Anyways when those kids got to Earth Jr., was that tree God? You know like in the story of Moses? I got laughed at for this guess, but it could be it!

Since we couldn’t see Harry Potter we decided to go see Ice Age 3. Trust me I didn’t pick this movie. Strange enough there were no movies playing near 8:00. All the good movies were hours away and my mom made it clear that she wouldn’t pick us up if a movie ended at 12:00. So Ice Age it was at 9:10!

The movie was O.K. Aside from missing approximately 10 min of the beginning because someone had an urge to buy cheese fries which they didn’t even finish. Not Me. Anyways, Aside from getting 3D glasses the movie was quite boring. Basically the movie is about how Sid gets lost and the whole crew has to go rescue him! And one animal is pregnant! Yes! Obviously, we all know what happens at the end. The movie was a bit funny. Stressing a bit.

This was a pretty good movie and is a mixed bag. If you’re older than 12 I suggest you go and seek out a different movie. Go see Beth Cooper, The Proposal, or Harry Potter 6. Like I would of done if I could of. I would have to give this movie a pass.
